If the Democrats would not have taken control of the House in 2006, they would without a doubt win the 2008 Presidential election, but since we have not had a Democrat as President in this millennium, I believe the Democrats are eager for change. That being said, along with their support for their views, I believe that Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama will get a good number of gimmick votes (for their gender or race) since America is very concerned with equality these days. So, the real election, to me, will be the Democratic candidate selection process. Now, in regards to who I would like to see elected: As a Christian,I believe that the beliefs and morals of the Republican party line up more accurately with the Bible. And from the Republican candidates, I would have like have seen Sam Brownback win, but he is no longer running for President. Of the remaining candidates, Mike Huckabee has the most in common with my beliefs, plus he is in a band, which is always a plus. And the whole "I Heart Huckabee" thing is pretty sweet. Well, what does every one else think?
I was reading through what I wrote and I wanted to clarify something. I am neither racist nor sexist. If a black person or Asian person or anyone is the best person for the job, then by all means vote for them. When I said "Gimmick votes," I was addressing the possibility that candidates would receive votes solely based on their race or gender. Now, when it concerns female candidates, I believe that the Bible teaches that the man should be in a leadership position in the home, church, and state (President). I'm not saying that men are superior to women, because I don't think that at all. What I am saying is that men and women are made differently and made for different things, and leader of a country just so happens to be a thing that men were created for.
Mikey! I think that the Dems have a good chance of winning too. But I'm not sure, I think this race will actually be a pretty close one. I really believe that Huckabee is the only GOP candidate that can win though. He is the only one who can win Arkansas if Hilary wins the Dem nomination! :)

Why do you ask if I am joking?

Hi! Sorry, I really can't answer your questions. Yeah, I guess I should research that some more before November rolls around.
Who's Stephen Colbert?
Stephen Colbert is a host of a late night political show, and he often uses sarcasm.
